I spent the first moments and days of 2014 in Colorado with my dad. Colorado is very different than Texas, with colder air and warmer people.
On New Year’s Eve, Dad and I stayed in to do a puzzle and snuggle with Nube the Chihuahua. We went ice skating the following day, and later in the week visited family and went snowboarding on fresh, sparkling snow. I returned home last Sunday.
